What did I do to deserve this?
I thought my leg was getting fixed. I didn't know it would get so broken first.
I can't even sit on the couch without a leash and my mom making sure I don't move around.
The only good thing about today is this nice card that came from Winnie.
Ow. Sigh. This is not what I had in mind.

Poor little Uba!! It has to get worse before it gets better, but the scary part is over. Now it's just the boring, patient part. Rest up so you can treadmill the nights away! :)

ReplyDeleteUba, I'm the one who had a knee replacement this summer, so I really understand what you're going through. It will get better. Really! You're job now is to heal and to do your physical therapy. I'm rooting for you. As my surgeon said to me on the day I left the hospital, "Be courageous!" I was mad at him for saying that to me, but later I realized he was right. You can do it, Uba!!! I love you!!!
