'Ears Lookin' at ME!

Every single day I go for a walk with my person and one of my brothers. Sometimes I go with my Labrabrother, Pyewackett, and sometimes I go with my super-cool Pibblebrother, Piggly Wiggly. It's so cool to go for a walk with my brothers.

Today I was walkin with my Labrabrother and here's a movie of me. My person was laughing at my shadow...But I don't really know why. I was just looking around at everything and sometimes when I look at stuff my ears make funny shapes.

I don't try to make funny shapes with my ears, you know. It's just that when I'm thinking real hard or when I hear something new or if I see a squirrel or something my ears move all around like they want to know what's going on, too.

Lots of people have told me that my ears are one of the things that make me so special and that they make lots of people happy.

I like walking with my brothers. And I like being special and making people happy.

Love,
Jhumpa Jones

So stinking cute! And Pyewackett is AWESOME! What a great dog. When I first introduced my (recently passed) pit bull to "our pack", my mother's yellow lab (long passed) was just so sweet to my new confused little pit bull. What a great dogs they both were. Your video makes me miss them both. (But in a good way!)
-thanks for sharing.

Wow Jhumpa,

I bet we could put you on top of Gotham Tower with a flash light and you'd be able to call out BatMan.

Glad your people did the audio so we learn to pronounce you and your brother's name. Remember you movie star pibbles, like Jonny & Grace, can hold out for better treats.

Keep strutting it and I'll check-back,
Boris

I'm curious where the name Jhumpa came from.

I don't remember how I stumbled across this blog. I have read it from start to finish. I have laughed, I have cried. Though I don't havea pitty, I have always believed "don't ban the breed. Ban the irreasponsible owner" I won't even comment on he who shall not be named. Hector in Minnesota did that very well already.(Just that I wish things that "people", and I use the term loosely, who do bad things to dogs should recieve the same treatment. PERIOD)
Thank god for all of you who work so hard for this group and all the mistreated groups. The Am Staffs, the American Pit Bulls, the Dobes, the GSD's, the chows, the Akitas, Rotties and those breeds that I am not recalling now do not deserve to be banned. Nor should insurance companies be allowed to cancel homeowners ins. on breed basis.
Funny thing is the #1 breed that has bite reports was the Golden Retriever last time I checked. No bad breeds, just bad, irresponsable owners.
Thank you for the work you do. I am in love with these dogs. Since I need a service dog, my needs are for a taller one(bad leg) My choice is the Standard poodle because of their intelligence and they are nonthreatening to everyone. (If they only knew, they will guard me like crazy)
I will always love those pit kids.
Sorry for the length of my comment, but I have been reading this whole blog and am so grateful for folks like you. I believe, if not for their public perception, they would make outstanding police and military dogs. *sigh*
I do what I can in my state of Texas by fighting breed bans. Since I can't foster or adopt.
God bless all of you!!!
Hugs Jamie & the texas sun dogs
ps-when jhumpa looks to the side looks just like the shadow animal of a rabbit head-lol
I wish I could give all of these kids a big hug-and mail he who shall not be named a big box of poop!!!!! (all the others too)

pps would it be possible for you to send me the url for the button for your blog so I can put it on the side bar of mine?
And I would love permission to put Hector's post on V*** reinstatement on my blog.
