Wow that looks good...mmmmmm peanut butter. I think i go get some. Plus where did your dog get that huge tongue? I need a big tongue too so i can eat peanut butter without getting it all over my mouth!
JJ, You got the best people treating you, that looks like it is the low-sugar, organic stuff too.
I get the whole plastic jar leftover to 'de-program-me' from barking at the landscapers through the window. So, if you got 10 minutes to waste: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uCuEKRF0qi0 N.B. these pb activities with PB's should always be monitored for safety. I'll check back, Boris
Know what would make these stories even more amazing (and no doubt shocking to the pit-bull hating world)? If they became therapy dogs and got nationally certified as a "Canine Good Citizen". That'd hopefully start to crumble the sad pillar of pitbull mtyhs.
That's awesome Johnny! I'm wanting to get my girl certified as well once she turns 18 months or 2 years. She's a wonderful girl and I'd love to show people the unconditional love they can give to anyone!
I'm going to apply at some pit bull rescues here in CO to see if I can help. I'll probably end up quitting my job as a programmer if I can make it financially helping my beloved pits :)
reminds me of the short film called I think "17" featuring a young girl, a dog and a glob of pb. She feeds the dog the pb, and as the dog begins smacking its lips, she starts to count 1, 2, 3...
Was that really Skippy peanut butter? I thought that was the label on the pb jar. We have two rescued dogs, and only give them organic pb with no sugar or salt added, and they love it as much as they love the altered peanut butter with all the crap in it.
I love the Vick dogs, and watched the Dogtown special which showed 22 of them going to Utah. I am, however, very skeptical about Vick's supposed rehabilitation. I think THAT is simply a PR stunt.
Onwards and upwards! Love the dogs, love what you're doing for them, love the blog!
Lol! My dog is the same way with peanut butter. It's one of the only ways we can get her to take her medicine. And I love that there was classical music in the background. JJ, you're so refined.
My human thinks a pibble eating peanut butter is one of the funniest things in the world, so it works out well for both of us! (I think it's the slappy sound my tongue makes against my nose- over and over and over.) Let me know if you figure out a funny way to eat steak. --Snoep
LOVE IT! peanut butter on a spoon was the only was anyone but my father (the only one who could open her mouth n force it down her throat) could get our rottie to take a pill... shed get it out of anything else and spit it out.

There is nothing quite as hilarious and charming as watching a dog eat peanut butter :)
